This cycle was my first animation ;) I'm quite proud of it^^ It take me lot of time, traditional animation is a bit hard to do :heart:

Hope you like it! :D

Well done for the deer run cycle, but it didn't have to be 21 seconds long.... The amount of loops I counted, didn't need to be there ^.^, just saying. Now you have to practice making it do other things like walk, jump etc...

Yes, cuz you have to draw each frame with a different pose, then make sure the frame is in order from frame 1 to 24, depending on the cycle that you're doing. That's why it's called traditional 2D Animation :)

Tra - digital is slightly different
and of course you have 3D which runs on the same 2D Principals. Once you know all and you're really good at all 12, 2D Principals, you can animate anything basically :)

Thank you very much for the advice, my friend!
I'll try to improve my technique in my next animation, I'm still learning! :heart:

I have other pencil tests, but the quality is very low and that's why I didn't upload them^^

Good, cuz that's the way to go.

By the way, how did you upload your animation here? I've been trying to do that since I started making animations at school and no body seems to know how o.o

Being part of the film community is a little strange here...
You must complete this aplication --> docs.google.com/forms/d/1E3ABo…;
and wait for the note. Yeah, I know, it's weird u.u

Here the information about film and animation comunity and how to become member --> help.deviantart.com/842/

Good luck, sweetheart! :heart:

Thanks. I applied and got accepted....but I still don't know how to upload an animation here like your film... Does it have to be flash or it could still be in the mov or mp3 format??

Most movie formats are accepted for film: .avi, .mov, .mp4, .divX....

You can submit your deviation through the Submit Art page or via Sta.sh.
The category of the submission is "Film & Animation". You are allowed to select this category if you are part of the Film Community.

If you have a flash movie (FVL), the category is "Flash" --> "Animation" c:

I hope this helps! --> help.deviantart.com/842/
